Why we created Lasting Joy
When I looked for a devotional for my daughter, I couldn’t find anything that truly fit. I wanted something that helped her fall in love with learning about Jesus while still feeling fun and engaging. So I started creating simple lessons and stories at home to strengthen her faith and share meaningful time together.
Now Lasting Joy is our way of sharing that same experience with other families, helping little hearts know God in a way that sparks joy, wonder, and lasting faith.

Who is it for?
Children ages 6 to 12. Younger children enjoy it read aloud with a parent, and older children can read it on their own and go deeper. Each issue stands on its own, so you can start in any month.
How big is each issue?
Every issue is 44 full-color pages: two Bible stories, character studies, crafts, puzzles, a prayer page, and a family activity. That’s enough for a few minutes of Bible time most days of the month.
I have more than one child. Do I need more than one subscription?
Not necessarily. Many families read the stories together from one issue. Subscribers can also print extra copies of the crafts, cut-outs, and puzzles from their account, so each child has their own activity pages. If you’d like every child to have their own full printed magazine, add a subscription for each.
Does it work for homeschooling?
Yes. Many families use Lasting Joy as part of their Bible time. It fits naturally with Charlotte Mason, classical, and other literature-rich approaches, with Scripture, poetry, picture study, history, and handiwork in every issue. It’s also simple enough to enjoy as a family magazine.
When does it ship?
Printed issues ship during the last week of each month, inside the United States. You’ll get an email when the first issue is on its way.
Can I cancel or pause?
Yes. Card subscribers can cancel or pause anytime from the billing portal in their account. Cancel before the next billing date and you won’t be charged again. Arizona ESA families can email us to make changes.
What’s the difference between the plans?
Print + Free Digital is $14.99 a month and includes the mailed magazine and digital issues. Digital Only is $9.99 a month. Arizona ESA families can get a full year of print + digital through the ESA form.
Do you take Arizona ESA?
Yes. Use the ESA form. There’s no card checkout. Once your ESA payment comes through, we activate your year and send a confirmation. Shipping is included.
How do digital issues work?
When your subscription or ESA year is paid, every issue is in your account. Sign in any time to read it in our online flipbook on a computer, tablet, or phone. You can also print extra copies of the activity pages, like crafts and puzzles, for each child.
